Japonisme Folding Mirror

Antique French Japonisme folding mirror, late 19th/early 20th century, featuring  beautifully hand-painted Japanese-inspired gilt panels depicting figures, egrets and floral motifs. It is encased in a faux bamboo frame, the mirror unfolds into three sections, revealing its original aged glass with a softly timeworn patina. It can either be hung from the chain at the top or sit free standing.
