Mixed Media After El Anatsui

A striking mixed-media contemporary artwork in the manner of El Anatsui. The piece is constructed from folded, stitched and pinned recycled paper combined with printed elements and hand-sewn threads. The layers create a rich texture and depth and display a subtle palette, framed in a simple wood and plexiglass frame with stud fixings visible. It can be viewed from either side with on side displaying she pins used for construction which adds additional interest and texture.
