The Portobello Dom is an exclusive collaboration between Maud Vaughan and Hampshire-based design studio Fox & Furb — a beautifully considered bar stool distinguished by its signature wavy detail. Entirely handmade in Hampshire, each stool features a solid steel frame crafted by a local blacksmith and powder coated in a choice of ivory or black. The seat is upholstered in a soft, naturally stain-resistant cotton-linen, available in a selection of pared-back neutral and earthy tones, with piping in matching or contrasting colours. Bespoke fabric options are also available.

A perfect height for most kitchen counters and islands. We can adjust the height if required, please get in touch to discuss this or any other bespoke requirements.
Lead time:
Made to order. Available for pre-order with a lead time of 6–8 weeks (shorter when possible). Fabric swatches available on request; samples can be viewed at our Surrey showroom by appointment.
Shipping:
UK mainland shipping is £35 per stool; additional stools will be invoiced separately. For international shipping, please request a quote. No VAT is charged on this product.
About Fox & Furb
Fox & Furb is a Hampshire-based design studio run by a husband and wife team with a passion for creating colourful, one-of-a-kind furniture and soft furnishings. All metal frames are designed, made and sprayed in-house using thoughtfully sourced materials and a small team of local makers. Sustainability is central to their practice, with recycled materials used across their entire range.

UK DELIVERY
Small items are dispatched within three days of order and sent via FedEx or Parcelforce.
Larger or more delicate pieces are delivered via courier and typically arrive within 1–2 weeks of order confirmation.
If you require an item urgently, please do get in touch and we will do our best to accommodate your timeline.
DELIVERY COSTS
UK delivery costs are confirmed at checkout. As a guide, specialist courier delivery for furniture typically ranges from £55–£95, with medium-sized delicate items such as mirrors £35–£45. Small items sent via FedEx are charged at standard parcel rates. Courier delivery is quoted for one-person delivery to ground floor level.

Free collection is available by appointment from our studio based in Ockley, Surrey.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERIES
We offer international delivery. Shipping for smaller items is calculated at checkout. For larger pieces, where delivery is not quoted online, please contact us for a bespoke shipping quote.
Please note, MAUD VAUGHAN is not responsible for import duties or taxes that may be incurred outside the UK.
RETURNS
If your purchase does not meet your requirements, we offer a full refund of the purchase price (excluding transportation costs), provided the item is returned in its original condition within fourteen days of receipt.
Items stored with us for more than two weeks are no longer eligible for return.
PACKAGING
Where possible, items are delivered packaging-free, carefully wrapped in protective blankets which are removed on delivery. Recyclable materials are used wherever practical.
